Oakes Farms Inc., has doubled overall acreage, is expanding its specialty pepper program and has a new display-ready retail pack. Last season, the grower-shipper grew 900 acres of bell peppers, cucumbers, squash, eggplant and other vegetables. This year, it plans to harvest from 1,800 acres.
